Heart for summer sunset - BOTB15

This is my entry for the BOTB15 (world wild competition Battle of the Beadsmith)
My Inspiration for this necklace were the warm colors of the summertime especially the colors of the beauty summer sunsets. And the hearts are perfect for saying I'm in love with life, with summer and with Nature and its beauties!

I used mainly Size 15 and 11 Miyuki Seed Beads and Delica. I used also 3 little orange seashell (in Italy we call them St Lucy's eyes), 3mm and 6mm jade fire polished faceted round beads.
The focal red heart is one of my ceramic pendent (I painted it like a lace).

Dimensions: 13 in (33 cm) in length by 8.3in (21 cm) in width

Time to complete: 2 months

Yes! I think I'm totally Blue ... I choose Aquamarine (March's birthstone).
The pendent is made by using a beautiful Swarovski Elements Pear Cabochon and a Aquamarine Swarovski Heart.

The necklace I handmade using Aquamarine Guttermann seed beads 9/o which I crocheted to make this tubular effect.

Cup cake preparati insieme ai miei piccoli pasticceri per merenda! Che dire, visto l'esplosione di cuoricini, a casa mia l'Amore è nell'aria!
Forse non sono proprio perfettissimi, ma vi assicuro che sono molto buoni ... ne sono rimasti giusto giusto per la colazione di domani mattina!
